As CEO of Mona Electric Group from 1992-2002, Mark transformed a mid-sized family electrical contracting company with revenues of $23,000,000 annually and 300 employees into an aspiring world class electrical, energy and building technology organization with 600 employees. Mark grew the business into an organization comprising 4 operating companies with annual revenues exceeding $60,000,000 and built the foundation for the Company to continue as a Top 100 Private Company in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area with revenues over $150,000,000.
Mark was appointed by Maryland Governor Parris Glendening to three separate Maryland State Task Forces to collaborate with industry, public and environment leaders in developing critical recommendations for the State of Maryland to advise on the newly restructured Electric Utility Industry. Mark has testified and lobbied at the State level for various Energy Efficiency Bills and initiatives and was a national speaker, giving his signature series titled “Opportunities and Challenges in the New World of Energy”.
